The situation is fierce, yet not hopeless, statistically speaking. Studies show that 23 women out of 99 who were treated for pap cancer with chemotherapy agent, developed tinnitus due to that treatment. This scenario is prevalent for NSAIDs that are used widely for pain, inflammation and fever in most households. 23 out of 99 is quite a high percentage if you consider the other negative side effects of such drugs, and it is imperative to find a solution beyond therapeutic drug use.

Options are limited, in the present grim scenario. Patients must turn to holistic remedy if they want quick and permanent relief from tinnitus.
