Pet chiropractic? Some owners swear by the treatment
February 25, 2011 – 6:44 pmJackie DeCharles of Harwich Port had used a chiropractor for her own back and neck pain with great success. But when her dog, Ferguson, started limping, her chiropractor offered to help him, too.
“My chiropractor, Dr. Paul Anastasio, used a little gunlike device called an actuator to adjust Ferguson’s spine,” says DeCharles. “It was fascinating, because whenever he went over the sore spot, Ferguson’s back would twitch.”
