Rows are an outstanding way to build a big strong back, to maintain antagonistic balance at the shoulder, as well as for strengthening the hands. There are many variations to choose from, using both barbells and dumbbells.

Harwich toddler thrives with tube feeding

At first glance, Kateri Golden looks like any other 3-year-old girl. She’s curious, friendly, and likes to snack on pretzels and fruit snacks. Watching her play with toys in her Harwich home while wearing a little backpack, you’d suspect she is just pretending to be going to school like her older brother.

But Kateri’s backpack isn’t for toys and books. It carries a bag filled with the specialized formula she needs to eat and the pump that ensures the formula is continuously delivered through a feeding tube straight into her small intestine.

Congratulations Green Bay Packers Winners of Super Bowl XLV

By now most of you know that the Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl XLV. A big congrats to those guys! Aaron Rodgers and Packers defense were great pretty much the whole game.

Rodgers threw 3 touchdowns and the Packers D forced 3 turnovers, all of which led to points. Big Ben had a streak of good play when he nearly tied the game after being down 21-3, but the Green D kept him down where he belongs.

Eat your heart out Brett Favre.

I was surprisingly not impressed with the halftime show or the commercials this year. My Super Bowl commercial highlight of all time was cat herding, so this year didnt give me much to look forward to.

Cape college students line up for flu shot

WEST BARNSTABLE — Dean Sennett’s first thought upon learning there was a flu shot clinic at Cape Cod Community College: “Sign me up.”

And Monday. he, along with students and faculty, availed themselves of the free shots offered by the school after a student was diagnosed last week with a confirmed case of the 2009 strain of H1N1 virus.

Where to go for vaccine

There is plenty of flu vaccine still around. If you haven’t got a flu shot yet, check with your physician or one of the chain pharmacies such as CVS or Walgreens. Most are still offering shots for a small fee.
